PlayStation VR is almost sold out across the UK. Be quick if you’re looking to get one in time for Christmas!

The PSVR has proven hugely popular in the UK. It’s a great value headset that enables anyone with a PS4 to step into premium VR experiences.  While its PC cousins, the Rift and the Vive, have been very well received, they’re arguably priced just a bit too high (particularly when including the required gaming PC) to reach the same level of success that Sony has found with the PSVR.

Stocks will be coming back in a big way next year, but until then options are very limited. At the time of writing, the only place still stocking this wonderful Christmas present is Smyths – and it’s now only available via in-store collection! [edit – it’s now sold out completely there too!]

There’s always the secondary market option – you’ll find a number of unopened PSVRs listed on eBay, for example. But brace yourself for a nasty markup until stocks return!

Of course, if you’re feeling lucky, don’t forget our competition to win a PSVR is still open to new entrants. Why not roll the dice on a potential game-changer this coming Christmas Day?

If you were eyeing up a PSVR but also happen to have access to a solid gaming PC, the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift have now fully recovered from their early stock shortages and are available everywhere.  With Black Friday deals almost upon us, we’ll be the first to let you know of any great prices as they appear!
